Jack Tenney

Jack Tenney, publisher
A former manufacturing executive and financial consultant, Jack founded Mill Publishing in 1984. His monthly column, Extra Point, can be read online along with most of the stories and features of Business People-Vermont. Jack started his business career working for a billion dollar conglomerate in the '60s and, apparently, fondly remembers every working moment from then to now.

Rebecca Awodey, general manager
Rebecca has worked in publishing for many years. She's been with the company since 1986 as production manager, art director and general manager. She like dogs, computing, and snowshoeing, in that order

Edna Tenney, editor
Edna skipped graduation exercises at UVM in 1984 to edit the first issue of Business Digest, now Business People-Vermont. Her degree in psychology earned as a non-traditional student from 1981 to 1984 has stood her in good stead as she assigns biographical profiles to free-lance writers and classifies (and edits) press releases from area businesses.

Virginia Lindauer Simmon, managing editor
Virginia has written for Business People-Vermont since shortly after its launch in 1984. She was named managing editor in 2001. She brings to the magazine years of experience in business and the arts. Virginia’s publishing credits include editing and writing for national and regional magazines and editing the occasional book.
