LineSync hired Donna McDonald as office administrator, succeeding Connie Hall, who has moved to New York City.

Jessica Taylor joined Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs as an associate accountant. One of her several internships while earning her master of accounting degree from the University of Vermont was with Davis & Hodgdon.

TD Bank hired Sheila Sartori as assistant vice president and store manager at the 1855 Williston Road location in South Burlington. She was district manager at Talbots.

St. Michael’s College announced several additions to its staff. Nicole Mombell, assistant professor of modern languages, Spanish, was with Yale. Peter Vantine, assistant professor of modern languages, French, was with Indiana University. Aislinn Doyle, assistant director of admission, was with the Maritime Studies program of Williams College and Mystic Seaport. Katherine Hackett, a 2011 cum laude graduate of St. Michael’s, is admission counselor.

Hubbardton Forge hired Steve Rice as vice president of sales and marketing. Rice has more than 25 years’ experience in the lighting industry.

Adam P. Bergeron joined Bergeron, Paradis & SymQuest Group hired Jackie Bruning as accounts receivable specialist. Bruning was the chief town auditor for Fairfax.

Fitzpatrick LLP as an associate. Bergeron’s practice areas includes personal injury, general civil litigation, and employment law.

Champlain College named Dave Strubler dean of the division of business. Strubler was with Kettering University in Michigan.

Louis Blondin was named staffing coordinator at Home Instead Senior Care. Blondin was with a Seattle vitamin shop.

Ivy Knipes joined Geri Reilly Real Estate as a buyer’s agent and closing coordinator. Knipes has been a licensed Realtor since 2006.

Rice Memorial High School announced that Lloyd Hulburd, MA, associate principal for student life, was named associate principal of academic affairs. Keith Cieplicki, a 1981 alumnus, moved to the position of associate principal for student life. Christy Warner Bahrenburg, a 1988 alumna, was promoted to director of enrollment. Pietra Sylvester, a Rice parent, filled Bahrenburg’s job assisting with fund raising and grant writing. Colleen Case, 1982 alumna and a Rice parent, was promoted to executive secretary. Lisa Barron, a 1983 alumna, moved into Case’s former job as attendance and office secretary. Gretchen Fricke-Langan was hired as mathematics teacher. Andrew Pohlen will teach photography, graphic design, and film. Drew Farrell is student assistance program counselor. Greg Yandow is director of facilities. He was in facilities management at Middlebury College.

Amy Mailloux joined KeyBank as vice president, senior treasury management adviser. She was with Citizens Bank.

Burak Anderson & Melloni PLC announced that Alexander J. LaRosa joined the firm as an associate attorney. Larosa was with a Philadelphia firm.

Jack McKernon (left), founder of The McKernon Group Inc., announced his retirement as owner/CEO. Kevin Birchmore, McKernon’s longtime business partner and company president, acquired McKernon’s ownership position and has taken on a partner, Justus Cameron, who was appointed vice president. Cameron has been with the McKernon Group for four years.

Steven L. Gibbs was appointed vice president and chief accounting officer at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. Gibbs was with Scientific Games Corp.

University Mall announced that Karalyn Phipps was named store manager of maurices, a national fashion specialty store. The Wireless Zone authorized dealer has moved from its 585-square-foot location to 1,643 square feet adjacent to Kohl’s Department Store. The store is owned by ATI LLC and is managed by Heather Call. Potvin Construction is the contractor.

Engineering Ventures announced the addition of Oren H. Guttmann, EI, as staff engineer in the Burlington office. He was with a consulting engineering firm.

St. Michael’s College named Brian D. Collier assistant professor of fine arts. He is teaching an installation art class. William Lee Ellis, Memphis blues musician, was named assistant professor of fine arts, music. He is teaching the history of rock and roll and music theory.

KeyBank named Steve Gurin senior vice president and sales leader, business banking, at the bank’s district headquarters in Burlington. Gurin was with Community National Bank in Barre.

Nicole Sancibrian, CPA, joined Davis & Hodgdon CPAs as a manager. She has more than 14 years’ experience in public accounting. Chuck Maniscalco was named vice president, strategic initiatives at Champlain College. Maniscalco was CEO of Seventh Generation.

Christopher Hill, president of Heritage Aviation, promoted Rheal Gagnon to vice president of FBO services. Gagnon joined Heritage in 2000.

King Arthur Flour hired Terri Rosenstock as public relations coordinator. Alison Furbish, former media relations manager, will focus on Web media relations.

The Hilton Burlington Hotel announced that Mari Breen Palace was named director of sales and marketing. Palace was group sales manager for the Sheraton Providence Hotel in Rhode Island.

Monica Lyman was hired as director of the after-school enrichment program at Mater Christi School.

People Making Good public relations firm named Julia Lyon assistant account executive. Lyon has been a part-time account assistant since January.

Yankee Medical promoted David Poland, CPO, to production manager, and Leonard Simard. to lab foreman at the North Avenue, Burlington, facility.

Trumbull-Nelson hired Jason Cheney in the Montpelier office to do business development. Cheney was with a New York City firm.

Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC announced that attorneys James R. Haug Jr., Carol Ode, Michael S. Pieciak, and Kane H. Smart joined the firm. Haug was with Wells, Haug & Leopold in Burlington. Ode has worked as a consultant and volunteer and lobbied for various organizations. Pieciak was with a New York law firm. Smart clerked for Judge Thomas Durkin at the Vermont Environmental Court. Margaret Harris was named executive director of The BOMA Project, a Vermont nonprofit that helps the pastoral nomads of northern Kenya establish small businesses. Harris was with the Salzburg Global Seminar.

Bill LaPierre was named vice president of business intelligence and marketing analytics at Datamann Inc. He was senior vice president at Millard Group in Peterborough, N.H.

Marketing Partners Inc. announced the addition of Jennifer Schraven as an assistant account executive. Schraven was with Vermont Vows/WellWed magazines.

PAETEC Holding Corp. announced that Bob Stock was named major account executive. Stock was a senior consultant with RSA Business Solutions.

Jaime Losch joined Environmental Compliance Services Inc. as an indoor air quality, asbestos, and lead project scientist. She holds a bachelor of science from the University of Southern Maine in Gorham, and completed post-baccalaureate premedical studies at the University of Vermont.

Mark L. DiGangi joined TD Wealth Management, a subsidiary of TD Bank NA, as a vice president in private banking in Burlington. He was with Morgan Stanley and KeyBank. Carl Haasper Jr., CPA, was named store manager of the bank’s Barre location. Haasper was with Utility Risk Management Corp. in Stowe. Susan D. Whalen was promoted to senior credit officer in risk management at the Burlington location. She joined the bank in 1992.

Wilbur H. Horton Jr., PE, was hired by DuBois & King Inc. as senior electrical engineer and project manager in the Springfield office. Horton has 24 years’ experience.

Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. hired Bruce Boedtker, PE, as senior project manager in the land development group. Boedtker owned Bruno Associates Inc., a civil engineering firm in Woodstock.

Heather Williams was promoted to branch president of the Malletts Bay office of Merchants Bank. She replaces Nancy Glindmyer, who is retiring. Williams has been with Merchants since 2002.

Thomas Denenberg was named director of the Shelburne Museum. He was deputy director and chief curator of the Portland Museum of Art in Maine. He succeeds Stephan Jost, who left in March.

C2 Competitive Computing hired Ben Pasquino as a business analyst and QA lead. He was with CGI Technologies & Solutions in North Carolina and Montpelier. Gayle Goodwin, named senior project manager, was with Fletcher Allen Health Care.

Larry Cain was named executive vice president of Works in Progress. He was president until his regional construction report company merged with Construction Journal last year.

Thomas Kimball was hired as controller of Vermont Housing Finance Agency, and Michelle Packard was promoted to manager of bond financings and investments. Kimball, a CPA, was with Aon Insurance Managers. Packard has been with VHFA since 2008.

Stowe Mountain Resort announced the hiring of Sam Gaines as director of real estate development. In New York, Gaines worked with Chartis on its acquisition of the resort. •
